A druken though

Don't drink alone.

Faster boot to Windows

Want to boot Windows a little faster. Try Hibernation. Go to Control Panel and click on Power Options icon. If you are using WinXp you might need to switch to Classic View to see the Power Options icon. Under Hibernation tab click on Enable Hibernation box. Under Advanced Choose Hibernate under "When I Press the power button on my computer:" Then shutdown and turn on your computer by the power button. You will save a few minutes booting up Windows this way.

Information is a powerful thing.

A 10 year girl save hundred people live from the Indian Ocean's tsunami. How can a little girl has such strength you might ask? This time it's the knowledge she learn from her Geography class that save her and others from the devastating tsunami. I myself don't know about this natural tsunami warning sign before I read this article. I guess I have to keep my eye open whenever I sun bathing on the beach. Hmm, let's see if any fish is flopping on the sand out there. Well what the heck life is full of unexpected events. You can't watch out for dangers all the time anyway. Just take it easy and move on I guess. But when you happen to see a strange thing is happening, like the ocean is suddenly disappear, then run for your life. So "When the ocean suddenly disappears, the tsunami is fast coming. Run" Happy New Year.

Any tip for traveling with baby?

I am planning a Vietnam trip with my wife and our youngest 10 months old boy and wonder if anyone has any tips for us. Things like diaper change, baby foods, medicine, baby carrier, toys, stroller at airport, and all those little details that I taken for granted are now bothering me. I want to make the trip as pleasant and hassle-free as much as possible. So any tip is appreciated. For a starter, while looking on the Web for a best system to transport my baby with a stroller and a CRD, child restraint device, I found a Safeline Sit-n-Stroll car seat that can easily transform to a stroller. It's a great product but then it's expensive. My boy can already sit in one of those inexpensive umbrella stroller which I already have, but he still need to be in a CRD on the plane. So I am looking for a best way to carry both the stroller and the carrier around the airports. By accident, I found a compromised and inexpensive solution. The solution is just place the infant carrier on the umbrella type stroller and secure it with my new un-patented device called "stroller-lock-stick". My "stroller-lock-stick" is a very simple device that secure the carrier to the stroller. I promise to include a picture of it and some instruction on how to use it when I have a chance. It works with the Evenfo Discovery infant carrier that I have but it should work for all type carrier that has the lock for the shopping cart. I'll let you know how this system work out after the trip. I am sure there are more troubles I will be encountered when traveling with my little boy. So if you have any other tip on traveling with baby please share it with me. Thanks.
