Here are the collection of my own music. All of the songs I recorded are first take so you sometime hear some odd notes. My method is very simple. I just hit the record button on my digital piano and let myself go with whatever music forming in my head at the time. Later I just save whatever song I like and burn them in CD for archive.
Sometime I wonder where are these music come from. It’s strange to me that I can’t play the same song the next time, only the general melodic lines. Sometime the music stemmed from a pattern of chords that I started. Sometime the music is an elaboration of single melodic line that I accidentally strike on the keyboard. Sometime the music is already formed in my head when I wake up in the morning and just revisit them when I sit down at the piano. I don’t like write down my music because I’m a lazy guy and I don’t like reading music score. To me it’s somehow too mechanical to jot down each single note and tempo. I think I’m the type that people call “play by ear”. Yes, I can most of the time play along with whatever song is playing. I like to do that to discover new chord pattern and technique but mostly just for leisure and relaxation.
Following are the set of song I recorded. I like to listen to them now and then to rediscover my own self. Not much songs for now but will add more. (Note to self “play some more”) Have a listen and drop me note if you want to discuss about music, especially the spontaneous kind.
naturally like your website but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I will definitely come back again.
