About VietCali.com

At first glance, VietCali.com might sound like a Vietnamese news website, but despite the name, it’s actually my personal homepage. Yes, a personal homepage — a term from before blogs were even a thing. I started VietCali.com back when Yahoo was the king of search engines and Netscape was the go-to browser. It began as a way for me to learn more about the internet and web development.

I experimented with adding online tools like a Vietnamese keyboard VNKB, personal ads, ad services, and quick English-Vietnamese phrases. Those were the good old days, filled with curiosity and excitement about the endless possibilities of the web.

These days, I’m busier with work and family, so this homepage — or should I say “blog” — has been a bit neglected. I still post an article every now and then when inspiration strikes, though that doesn’t happen as often anymore. But I hope to find the time to bring back some of those helpful tools and keep the site alive in some small way.
